I-DEFENCE® is primarily recommended for night-time use. Patients may experience a temporary foreign body sensation upon application, which should subside after blinking several times. While it can be used during the day, it's important to note that patients should avoid driving or operating heavy machinery due to potential vision blurriness caused by the ointment's consistency. The ointment is most effective when used at night during sleep, as this allows for prolonged contact with the cornea. It's important to note that I-DEFENCE® is not compatible with contact lenses. The product comes in a 5 g (0.18 fl. oz) tube format.
